Hepa Exceptional recipe

The player guide lists one recipe, built on Exceptional Raptor (+1). You add five crafting materials and a single Gold Bar.

No separate recipe is posted for the other Hepa weapons (Iron Bow, Shard, Iron Impact). Expect the same pattern, but check the amounts in the craft window before you farm for a non-Raptor version.

Short answer

The GMRGame Hepa Exceptional craft takes 1 Exceptional Raptor (+1), 5 Advanced Leather, 8 Refined Gemstone, 7 Decoration Jewel, 6 Connected Iron and 1 Gold Bar. Base rate is 25%, 50% with a Shadow Piece. Materials and Exp items drop from Booro and Balrog in CZ.

Success rate and Shadow Piece

A plain attempt is 25%. Throw in a Shadow Piece and it doubles to 50%. With a Gold Bar in the recipe every attempt is pricey, so most players will want the Shadow Piece first.

Shadow Pieces are rare box drops. Best odds on the Chaotic drop list:

  • Mob CR Box and Lv.2 Parchment: 0.16%
  • Gold Box: 0.15%
  • CR Box: 0.04%
  • Legend Chest: 0.03%
  • Chill CR Box and Prime Time Box: 0.02%

Where to farm the materials: Booro and Balrog

All the materials drop at the Booro and Balrog spots in CZ, and Exp items only come from those two. So the base weapon and the mats are farmed in the same place.

Grab the [Party] Booro and [Party] Balrog quests while you are there. Both need level 83 and pay out a Blessed Upgrade Scroll. For the Gold Bar, Party MS has it on its drop list.

Skipping the craft: TIER-2 Weapon Box

The TIER-2 Weapon Box rolls Hepas Exceptional Raptor, Iron Impact, Shard, Mirage and Iron Bow (+1), each at 8.45%. Lv.3 Parchment sits in the same box at 8.45% too.

How good are Hepa weapons?

In the server's weapon tier list, Hepa gear is second best for warrior, archer and assassin, and the top pick for BP Priest.

Warriors, watch the tooltip trap. Exceptional Raptor shows more AP than Giga, but the Unique Bonus makes Giga hit harder. That exact example is on the server info page, so do not swap a Giga for an Exp Raptor.

FAQ

What do I lose if the Hepa craft fails?
The guide does not spell out what is consumed on a fail. Given the recipe cost, doubling your odds with a Shadow Piece is the safer play.
Can Exceptional Raptor (+1) drop anywhere else?
Per the guide, Exp items only drop from Booro and Balrog. If you want a finished Hepas Exceptional, the TIER-2 Weapon Box is the other route.
Do I need premium to make Hepa items?
The recipe itself has no premium requirement. Booro and Balrog are in CZ, though, and CZ quests are listed among the Switch and DC Premium perks.
Is there a Hepa staff for mages?
No. The mage tier list starts with Wreath of Erenion, and none of the Hepas Exceptional weapons in the TIER-2 box is a staff.
