Auto mining requirements

  • Level 60: Auto Mining and the Golden Mattock unlock at level 60, which stops fresh level 1 alts from farming items.
  • DC Premium: required for Auto Mining. Switch Premium also lists Auto Mining among its perks.
  • Stay logged in: Offline Mining is disabled, so the character has to be in game.

Since everyone starts at level 1, the order is simple: level to 60 through the light farm curve first, then start mining.

Short answer

On GMRGame, Auto Mining and the Golden Mattock need a level 60 character and DC Premium. Offline mining is disabled, so Auto Mining is the only AFK farm. The boost gives 50% more drops than plain Auto Mining, and mining drops gems, fragments and boxes.

Golden Mattock vs Auto Mining vs Boost

The player guide shows three 24-hour drop samples: Golden Mattock, Auto Mining and Auto Mining + Boost. According to that guide the boost gives 50% more drops than plain Auto Mining, and the item behind it is listed as "%50 Mining Bonus".

The site isn't consistent on the boost: the intro page's feature list says the Boosted Mining Scroll doubles drops and the PUS sells a %200 Mining Bonus Voucher, while the player guide sample shows 50% extra.

What does mining drop?

Mining only drops specific gems, fragments and boxes. Open those and you get accessories or unique weapons, weighted by how rare the item is. In the Chaotic drop list the Mining Box alone has 69 possible rewards.

Don't mine for coins. Mob farmers earn twice as many coins as miners on this server; mining is for gear and accessory materials.

If mining is all you plan to do, the Mining Paket bundles DC Premium, the Golden Mattock and the vouchers in one go. If you also farm mobs, the DC Premium inside the Farm Paket covers the same requirement.

How did mining work in the Academy?

The 1st Academy ran a 300% auto-mining bonus, and premium time from the main server carried over. Coins, bars, scrolls, gems and MS don't transfer from the Academy to the main server, so whatever you mined there had to be spent there.

FAQ

Can you auto mine without premium?
No. Auto Mining requires DC Premium; without it you're stuck using the pickaxe manually.
What level do I need for the Golden Mattock?
Level 60, the same requirement as Auto Mining.
Does the boost really double drops?
The current player guide sample shows 50% more drops. The double-drop claim comes from the feature list on the intro page.
Is mining or mob farming better for coins?
Mob farming. The coin economy is set so mob farmers make twice what miners do.
