You start with the best-upgraded weapon in the game

Every class starts at level 1 with 25,000 coins, but priests get the strongest opener: a Maul (+8) with a Large Kite Shield (+7). Weapons cap at +8 at launch, so that Maul is already maxed.

The armor is a +7 set of Priest Cap, Fabric Coat, Fabric Pants, Priest Gloves and Priest Shoes. Accessories are two Warrior Earrings, two Mercenary Rings, a Warrior Pendant and a Body Belt, with Alencia Wings and Offline Merchanting.

Short answer

GMRGame's BP Priest line is Hepas Exceptional Iron Impact > Hell Breaker > Exp Iron Impact > Quest MS > Iron Impact. Str Priests farm the melee mobs (Troll Warrior, Golems, Troll, Apostle), and Fabric Coat +9 gives -20% damage received.

The site only publishes a weapon list for BP Priest, no stat build. Crafting a Hepa item has a 25% base rate, 50% with a Shadow Piece; the Hepa guide has the full recipe. Some spots in the ranking come from the Unique Bonus system, which boosts damage beyond what the AP number suggests.

Holy Animor and Smite Hammer drops

Parchment 2's description calls out Holy Animor and Smite Hammer for priests, and both drop as +3 at 2.44% from Lv.2 Parchment. Opening one costs 3,000,000 coins. Other sources:

  • Mob CR Box: Smite Hammer and Holy Animor, 1.21% each.
  • Fragment of Avarice: Holy Animor 4.5%.
  • Fragment Unique Box: Holy Animor 1.03%.
  • Other fragments, Gold Box and Diamond Box: Holy Animor at tiny rates (0.02-0.07%).

Str Priest farm spots

On the farm table, Str Priest is grouped with Warrior and Kurian. That puts you on the upper half of the EMC-LFC income list: Troll Warrior is 2nd, then Giant Golem, Troll, Apostle and Stone Golem, with Deruvish at 10th. Expect company, since melee classes all want the same spots.

For quests, Bahçe Farm (Melee) pays a Blessed Upgrade Scroll and Spell Stone Powder. The solo Troll Bus and Stone Golem quests also run on mobs you're already farming.

Fabric +9 or Priest Chitin Shell?

Two armor routes. Fabric is the Middle Class STR set: at +9 each piece gives a flat 4%, and the Fabric Coat tooltip reads -20%. Priest Chitin Shell is the reverse set: the +3 reverse pauldron shows -10%, and pieces add 2% at REB 3, 3% at REB 4 and 4% at REB 5 (item reverse grade, not rebirth).

Either way the bonus needs at least 3 pieces of the set. You already start in +7 Fabric, and Lv.1 Parchment drops +7 Fabric Coat, Fabric Pants and Priest Cap, Gloves and Shoes at 4.34%. Middle Class +8 to +9 is 3% (6% with Trina). Priest Chitin Armor (+5) pieces show up in Legend Chest and the CR boxes.

Hell Breaker or Hepa Exp Iron Impact for a priest?
Hepa Exp Iron Impact is rank 1 for BP Priest, Hell Breaker rank 2. Warriors want Hell Breaker too, at rank 3 on their list.
Can I upgrade the starter Maul past +8?
Not at launch. Weapons cap at +8, so your next step is a new weapon rather than more plusses.
Should a Str Priest farm mage mobs?
The farm table only lists Str Priest with the melee mobs. Crimson Wing and Harpy are marked for mages.
Does one Priest Chitin Shell piece do anything?
Not for damage reduction. The reverse bonus needs a set of 3 pieces or more.
