Red Treasure Chest drops

Red is a pure +1 chest. The top rolls are Deep Scar, Mirage, Impact, Priest Impact and Elixir Staff (+1) at 3.34% each, followed by Glave, Harpoon and Mirage Dagger (+1) at 3.11%, then Bone Crasher, Tomahawk, Priest Bone crasher, Salamander Staff and Durandal (+1) at 2.88%.

Every Chitin, Rogue Chitin, Priest Chitin and Crimson (+1) armor piece is 1.73%. Iron Bow, Shard, Blade Axe, Iron Impact, Totemic Spear, Graham and Raptor (+1) are 1.67%, Bardish 1.5%, and Cleaver, Philum, Vortex Bow, Totemic Club, Bone Cleaver and Slayer (+1) 1.44%. The rare end is thin: Chitin Shell Pauldron (+1) 1.37%, Chest Unique Box 0.58%, and the other Shell and Complete pieces only 0.07%.

Green Treasure Chest drops

Green is where +2 weapons show up. Durandal, Bone Crasher, Tomahawk, Priest Bone crasher and Salamander Staff (+2) share the top spot at 3.2% with Deep Scar, Impact, Elixir Staff, Priest Impact and Mirage (+1). Iron Bow (+1) is 2.08%.

Armor comes at +3 here: Chitin Gauntlets (+3) 1.92%, Priest Chitin Armor Pants (+3) 1.66%, and most other Chitin, Rogue Chitin, Priest Chitin and Crimson (+3) pieces 1.6%. Bardish (+2) and Glave (+1) are 1.66%, while +2 weapons like Philum, Cleaver, Slayer, Harpoon and Vortex Bow sit at 1.6%. Blue Treasure Chest drops

Blue has the best spread. Deep Scar (+1) leads at 4.67%, with Mirage, Priest Impact, Impact and Elixir Staff (+1) at 3.11%. The +2 weapons (Priest Bone crasher, Durandal, Salamander Staff, Bone Crasher, Tomahawk) drop to 1.87%.

The real difference is the rare loot. Chest Unique Box is 2.24%, Complete Boots (+1) 2.02%, Priest Chitin Shell Pants (+1) 1.56%, and the rest of the Chitin Shell, Rogue Chitin Shell, Priest Chitin Shell and Complete (+1) pieces 1.24% each. Glacier Erenion is Blue-only among the three chests at 1.56%. The trade-off: Chitin and Crimson (+3) pieces fall to 0.93%.

Which Treasure Chest is best?

  • Going for uniques or a Shell set: open Blue. It has the highest Chest Unique Box rate of the three, and its Shell/Complete pieces roll at 1.24% instead of the 0.07-0.08% most of them get in Red and Green.
  • Want +2 weapons or +3 Chitin/Crimson armor: Green, with +2 weapons at 3.2% and most +3 pieces at 1.6%.
  • Red is all +1 gear. It's the most reliable source of +1 Chitin pieces, but its rare drop rates are the lowest.

What is in the Chest Unique Box?

Chest Unique Box has 18 rewards. Sword of the Dead and Sword of Beast are 26.79% each, Rons Staff and Defender of the Lord 8.93%, Gold Coin 5.36%. Top-end weapons like Dark Vane, Hell Breaker, Wrath of Erenion and Chitin Bow, plus Glacier and Lightning Erenion, Silver bar, Trinas Piece and Tears of Karivdis, are 1.79% each.

FAQ

Can you get a Chitin Shell set from Treasure Chests?
Yes, but the odds swing hard by chest. In Red and Green most pieces are between 0.07% and 0.08%, so if you are farming a set, Blue is the sensible pick.
Do Treasure Chests drop +3 weapons?
No, weapons top out at +2 in all three. The +3 level only appears on Chitin and Crimson armor; for +3 weapons, look at fragments like Fragment of Lechery or Fragment of Jealousy.
Where does Glacier Erenion drop?
Of the Treasure Chests, only Blue has it. If Blue gives you a Chest Unique Box, Glacier Erenion is on that list too at 1.79%.
